An ACH credit, also called an unoriginated credit, is when a sender pushes USD from their own bank account into Anchorage Digital. It works much like a domestic wire: the sender initiates the transfer from their bank, using the deposit instructions for your USD wallet. For the shared model, see Deposit.
ACH is in development. Reach out to your relationship manager for beta access—see USD rails.
To pull funds from a source bank account instead, see Debit (pull).

Receive and reconcile an ACH credit

1

Get or create your USD wallet

A vault doesn’t get a USD wallet automatically when it’s created. If it doesn’t have one yet, create it with POST /v2/vaults/{vaultId}/wallets—see Create a wallet and address.
2

Get your deposit instructions

Retrieve the deposit instructions for your USD wallet from the web dashboard, or programmatically with GET /v2/wallets/{walletId}, and share them with the sender.
3

Receive the deposit webhook

The sender initiates an ACH credit from their bank to those instructions. Once the funds settle, a webhook notifies you of the deposit. See Webhooks.
4

Read the deposit with GET /v2/transactions

Fetch the transaction to reconcile the funds against your ledger. The fiatDetails object carries the sender’s details.
ACH fields in the API are in development, so this response is illustrative and may change before general availability.
